Outdoor sessions are best in Spring till early Autumn. All sessions happen during golden hour around 6-7 PM Monday -Friday depending on the time of the year. It's best to book a few weeks in advance as I only allow a limited number of sessions per week to allow rescheduling in case of bad weather.

Once we schedule your session I will give you a full guide on best location for your family and outfits. We will meet around Loughborough or Leicester area unless you have a specific location you would like to go to.

We usually meet up around 6PM and spend up to 2 hours to walk around the area and capture the best moments of your family. My outdoor sessions are very relaxed and fun allowing children to run around and explore nature. My aim is to capture natural as well as posed photographs of your children.

An outdoor shoot is for immediate family (Mum, Dad, Kids and dogs) but you are more than welcome to also include Grandparents. As a dog lover I know our furry friends are very important in our lives so why don't you bring your 4 legged members of your family.

For outdoor sessions, I recommend wearing casual and colourful or neutral clothing. As we walk around parks, woods and fields around the Leicestershire area it's best to wear flat shoes to be comfortable and allow you to have fun while walking around playing with your children. Once we schedule your session I will guide you on best colours of outfits.

As session takes up to 2 hours I recommend bringing lots of water and snacks for little ones. You can bring change of clothing and wellies to jump in puddles and water. Younger children might want to bring their favourite teddy. Depending on location I will advice on all additional items to bring.

After your session, I will re-touch your images to the highest standard. You will then be invited back to my studio to a viewing session around 1-2 weeks after your photo shoot where you will be able to view all your edited photographs and choose your package. At that time you will be able to purchase additional images or wall art.

It’s certainly possible knowing our UK weather! If the rain is on and off we will still go ahead and allow a little more time. If it rains constantly we can reschedule for the next available day. Closer to your session I will monitor the weather forecast and be in touch in case of bad predictions.
